Empty promise
Tomorrow never came
Don't you dare forget me
What a crying shame
Dawn comes far too early
One last kiss goodbye
You won't miss me, surely
I'll always wonder why
Sweet sunset, silent death
Lay me down, its for the best

Random Bullshit for English...
Goodnight
Sweet dreams
Don't you wait up for me
I can't regret you
We can always pretend
Though nothing's the same
This can't be the end
We're both so different
But you know I'll never forget
The way that you smiled
On the day that we met
You were never more beautiful
Than the day you told me goodbye
Goodnight, goodbye
Sweet dreams
Don't you wait up for me

What Better Leash...
Circle, circle, dot, dot
Deep breath, calm down
The longest minutes, count down
Now you have your cootie shot
Shake your head, close your eyes
Forget your dreams, bring on the lies
Circle, circle, square, square
Big sigh, its now or never
This isn't how you wanted to spend forever
Now you have it everywhere
Goosebumps, cold chill
Calm down, take a pill
Circle, circle, knife, knife
Stabbing pain, now you know
Two lines are all you have to show
Now you have it all your life
Twin towers trapping you inside
Hang your head, stifle a cry
Pull your hair, wonder why
This is all too real
Forget your dreams
Bring on the lies
*************
IDK where this came from. (If you didn't get the symbolism, its about someone taking a pregnancy test.) I was just thinking about a dream I had, and then I remembered the cootie shot that my babysitter gave me when I was like seven. I hope its still good... This is fiction, BTW. Hope you liked it.

A Sudden Influx of Cheesy Poetry
Cheesy Poem #1:
Kiss me
While the
Stars are high
Hold me
While it all
Is falling down
Take me
And we can
Leave it all behind
Kiss me
Before I
Change my mind
Cheesy Poem #2:
Oh no
Not now
Too fast
Breakdown?
First kiss
Last dance
Something special
Can it last?
Deep breath
Closed eyes
Coming closer
You look so beautiful tonight
Here we are
Finally
This
Temporary bliss
With the
Sweetest kiss
Don't let this be the last
Cheesy Poem #3
(Which actually isn't that cheesy)
Roses are red
My heart is, too
And it beats only
Only for you
Let's hold hands in the hallway
And pass love notes, too
And say "you complete me"
And watch our friends puke
I'll cry when you leave me
The love of my life
I'll say that I'm empty
And reach for the knife
I'm lost without you
My heart has gone black
And I will do anything
Anything to get you back
I'll come to your house
When you're all alone
You'll call the police
(Though you still love me so)
They'll take me away
And I'll scream your name
"Don't worry, baby
When I get out
It will all be the same"
Roses are overrated
And restraining orders are, too
I'm fifty yards away
But I still see you

Words
They spilled from her lips
Carelessly
Flowing freely
Just simple
Expressions of thought
Out there
For all the world to hear
Some laughed
Some wept
Some paid her no mind
One opposed
"Ashamed, you should be
For such words
Such thoughts
Such expressions
Used so freely
How dare you?"
The opposition screamed
Scolding
Judging
She shook her head
And bit her lip
Enraged but not
Naive
"Please," she pleaded
Senselessly
"Do not censor me"

Super Random Poetry, FTW
Sweet nothing
Say something
Catch me when I
Fall
Breathe easy
Pray freely
Never let me
Go
Whispered promises
Goodbye, love
We weren't meant to
Last

Consider This Your Divine Intervention
About this being practice?
This is just the trial run
The real stuff comes later
Not now
Did you forget
That you're just a kid?
You're not ready for this
This isn't a game
Not now
Why can't you see
That you're losing yourself?
You're not who used to be
We all grow up, I know but
Not now
Why can't you see
That I'm worried for you?
You don't know what you're doing
You're just far too young
Not now
Don't you see
What you've done?
This is a mistake
You are not ready
Not now
We're only kids
We don't need all this stuff
This is just practice
Don't mess it up
Not now

Teenagers
Temporary friends, tempting fate
Learning to fall
Make believe love, we love to make believe
A dress up life
For life's little doll
None of this is real
But practice never hurt this much before

Fifteen Years
Fifteen years doesn't seem so long
When you're staring down the barrel of a lifetime
Tunnel vision, see what's in store
Look at what's waiting for you
Grow up. Get a job. Wife. Kids.
Real friends?
Back stabbing. Glass ceiling. Catch me if you can.
Grown old. Break down. Nothing lasts.
Is this it?
Fragile bones. Heart break. Back ache.
Waiting for it all to end.
Fifteen years doesn't seem so long
When you have so little to look forward to
It seems meaningless; a cosmic joke
Staring down the barrel of forever
Wondering what's coming for you

Third Period
Karma, perhaps, punishing me for something by trapping me in a class
for an hour and a half every day with a teacher who seems to
think we're in pre-school?
Someone save me.
Time
Tick tock
All eyes
On the clock
Seconds pass
Patience drains
Why are we still here?
A minute closer
Too many more to go
Get us out of here
Pacing impatiently
The anticipation is
Too much
We can't take it
Set us free
Let us go
Tick tock
Tick tock

Creative Writing Class Makes Me Emo
Broken
Bleeding, throbbing, crying
Beautiful
Death and unforgiving life
Breathe into me
Make me whole again
Forget the past
Does it matter anymore?
We are alone
Eternally alone
Forgotten
We are gone
Moved beyond
This simple life and pain
Nothing to
Worry about
Please don’t mourn me
We are lost
Broken
Bleeding, crying, hoping
For a
Better tomorrow
Please don’t mourn for me

This is What I Come Up With In Geometry: Take Two
When we danced
In the rain?
When we ran wild
Like the summer
And laughed
Away the pain?
Do you miss the days
Spent quietly
Watching the sky?
Perfect sunsets and
Empty promises
A day to remember
And a long goodbye?
Do you ever
Think about the
Crazy plans we made?
And the hundred times a day
We'd swear
That things would
Never change?
We fooled ourselves
With soft kisses and
False hope's tempting song
But somewhere deep
I think I knew
That we were
Always wrong

They tried to make me go to rehab and I said....
That I do not dream
Of the day
You'll kneel upon one knee
And ask for my hand
"Will you marry me?"
No
Is it horrible to think
That I want more
Than a simple life
And your simple dreams?
"Will you please forgive me?"
No
Am I horrible for me to wish
For the one to give me
That true love's kiss
To steal my breath
And heal my wounds
Is it horrible for me to know
That it will never be you?
Is "just for now"
A teenage affair
Enough?
No

Another Poem
IDK what's been up with me lately, but these random poems keep coming to me. I'm not sure if the poems even make sense - I just write what comes to me. I'm kind of scared that I'm starting to become one of those sappy love-poem writing artsy kids. Stop me if I get too sappy, please.
I hear a sound
I'm not alone here anymore
We are running from this frightful town
We're not alone here anymore
Hear us singing
Hear the cry
Of a child left out
In the night
Listen to her
You will see
The forgotten beauty
That is me
Look around you
There is love
So innocent and pure
That it breaks your heart
Just to see
The beauty of this world
She cries, she sings
She brings the peace
To your ever frozen heart
Feel the warmth and you will see
We're not alone here anymore

Sing
And music is my air
So sing, my darling, sing for me
Sing so I can breathe
Walk along the path with me
Watch me cry and let me see
The beauty within everything
And sing, my love
Sing so I can breathe
Take me somewhere
Anywhere
Away from the busy streets
Beyond the concrete mountains
To a place where I can breathe
And sing
Sing for me, my love
And I will sing out too
I will give you everything
I'll give everything to you
Be my sunlight and my moon
My ocean and my harvest, too
Bring the stars and halt the rain
Be the music that lives in me
And sing
Sing so I can breathe
