They spilled from her lips
Carelessly
Flowing freely
Just simple
Expressions of thought
Out there
For all the world to hear
Some laughed
Some wept
Some paid her no mind
One opposed
"Ashamed, you should be
For such words
Such thoughts
Such expressions
Used so freely
How dare you?"
The opposition screamed
Scolding
Judging
She shook her head
And bit her lip
Enraged but not
Naive
"Please," she pleaded
Senselessly
"Do not censor me"
Words
